I like the chicken they serve in KFC, the Kentucky fried chicken. Sometimes I would go out on a date to the KFC. We would be just two people but then we would be able to finish a bucket of nine pieces chicken. Even though I didn't have a such a great capacity for food, I would be the one having more pieces than the one I went out with. The chicken they serve in this KFC's are great. The crispy, fleshy chickens. I am sure that anyone who had a taste for meat would love to have KFC chickens as much as I do.

When I think back my childhood days that I never had the opportunity to experience all those luxuries of life. Its not that I couldn't afford to do so, its just that there is no such opportunity. Now that I had the opportunity to experience those things it doesn't mean that I am in more well-to-do condition than those days. There are many people, much more than I could imagine who are in my condition and even worse than mine. Back then there would be a restaurant type of thing not so far from our college run by a Burmese accented lady. Young teens would go out there to hang out. Some even would go out there for a date.

Now that at least half a decade had passed since I was not in my home town, things hasn't changed much. I was told that there were a couple of luxurious restaurant coming up in town. I'm glad about the recent positive developing that has been happening since lately. It is not that it would let people spend more, it is just that something good is going to happen. I took it as a positive sign.

I do like ice-creams, those creamy cold layers. It feels so good in the mouth. In my younger days, I would relish on the cold frozen ice. I would have the grinded ice pieces given in a real ice-cream cone. I realized that those were not real ice-cream, its just a nakli ice-cream. I think I would have been a little less thinner than what I was right now given the number of those imitation ice-cream that I have eaten.

The thing the hurts me the most is that it would take at least a decade or even more than that to see more positive development than what it is happening. I don't know how many of us those having the luxuries of life think about how deprived our younger generations are unless something is done about it. Imagine a KFC outlet or a McDonalds or a Pizza outlet being opened at Thangzam Road. Just one outlet on our Teddim road would suffice for a population of our size. Unless we do something about it, nothings good is going to happen.
